Submit Presentation

The Lehigh Valley Services Conference planning committee invites you to submit a proposal for the 4th Annual Lehigh Valley Emergency Services Conference, presented by the Lehigh County Emergency Management Agency, Service Electric, South Whitehall Township EMA, Upper Saucon Township, and the Eastern PA EMS Council on April 16th & 17th 2026 in Center Valley Pennsylvania. The conference will provide a mix of educational workshops and presentations to showcase concepts, technology, processes and evidence-based practices in emergency services.   There are over 200 emergency services professionals expected to participate in the conference. Educate your peers and contribute to the field by submitting a presentation proposal for consideration.

Speaker Call 

The Call for Speakers runs from July 1st 2025 through February 16th 2026. All applications must be submitted by February 16th 2026 to be considered. There will be no exceptions to this deadline. If submitting for multiple presentations, please fill out a new application for each presentation. Breakout sessions will be limited to 50 minutes maximum and you should structure your presentation(s) to allow for Q&A within the time allocated.

Conference Focus 

Presentations should explore challenges faced by the emergency services community and how we, as a profession, can overcome those challenges. Presentations should be applicable to a wide audience range to include but not limited to:

  • Emergency Managers (Municipal, County, State, Other)
  • AI - Artificial Intelligence 
  • Disaster Planners
  • Homeland Security Professionals
  • Health & Human Services
  • Emergency Medical Services
  • Law Enforcement
  • Fire Service
  • Safe Schools
  • Climate Change and Adaptation 
  • Social Media
  • Cybersecurity
  • Emerging Technology
  • Volunteer Engagement & Recruitment 

Conference Dates and Location

April 16th & 17th 2026 at DeSales University in Center Valley PA.

As a thank you for presenting at the 2nd Annual Lehigh Valley Emergency Services Conference, up to two speakers per presentation will receive a complimentary Conference registration. Presenters are responsible for all cost’s associated with their accommodations, travel and food. LV EM Conference does not provide an honorarium and all presentations must be “pro bono.” Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost at the conference.  

Important Dates 

  • Submissions are due February 16th 2026
  • LV EM Planning Committee will notify speakers of selections by January 30th 2026.
  • Presenters must be registered before February 23rd 2026.

Proposal Submission 

Please submit all proposals to josephlight@lehighcounty.org no later than February 16th 2026.

After Your Proposal is Selected 

Presenters and alternates will be contacted by February 23rd 2026. All accepted presenters must register for the conference before February 23rd 2026. Presenters not registered by this date will not be included in the program and an alternate presenter will be selected.

It is recommended that the presenter commence all travel and accommodation arrangements after receiving notification that their presentation was accepted. Presenters are responsible for all cost’s associated with their accommodations, travel, and food. LV EM Conference does not provide an honorarium and all presentations must be “pro bono.”

Chosen presenters (up to 2 per topic) will receive a free Conference registration.

Non-Commercial Nature of Sessions: Under NO Circumstances are presentations to be used as a place for direct promotion of a speaker’s product(s) or service(s).  

The Presenter will be responsible for bringing their own USB Thumbdrive to present their topic.  

By submitting an application, you agree to the terms and agreements as set forth by the Lehigh Valley Emergency Management Conference.  

All PowerPoint presentations must be submitted to Joseph Light by March 15th 2026. Please email them to josephlight@lehighcounty.org.
